Genuflectant omnes in plano

samweed:

Rep Fest: I feel like in the Classic Rock/Music fandom a lot of people are really preoccupied with the British Invasion artists and other white artists (ie: Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly etc, etc.) They don’t seem to know about some of the black artists that were making just as big of a splash in America at that time. So, I thought this was a good time to showcase some of the awesome black men and women who were making great music at that time.

Shown Above:
The Supremes - Chuck Berry
The Temptations - Martha Reeves and the Vandellas
Sister Rosetta Tharpe - Little Richard
James Brown - The Marvelettes
Aretha Franklin - The Isley Brothers

Knife Blade

i’m a writer

Important to note, that this is a classification system from a Western point of view, may not translate well.

Also look at Hawkbill blades for curved edges, good angle for slicing.

In Asia, we also found the Khukri (with a boomerang-ish shape to the whole blade), the kris (a flam blade, like a flamberge, but a dagger), the kampilan (with either a “normal” tip, a double tip, or a squarish tip), and many other blade types.

  • Do not forget Michael Brown
  • Do not forget how the media dehumanized him and tried to justify his murder
  • Do not forget how peaceful protests were painted as savage riots
  • Do not forget police armed with military grade weapons terrorized and arrested black civilians
  • Do not forget Darren Wilson being awarded over $400,000 in fundraiser donations for murdering an unarmed black child
  • Do not forget that this system was not built to defend us, but to control us
  • Do not forget Ferguson

CULTURAL GENOCIDE:  Before and After photo of a young Cree boy, forced to attend a Canadian “Indian school.” (1910)

Despicable.

I want to show this to white people who say that cultural appropriation isn’t a big deal because you’re taking a part of someone’s culture that was insulted, attacked and taken away from them for years and years and now you want to wear it as some sort of costume or fashion trend. But your ancestors were the ones to forcefully take away and obliterate OUR cultures for centuries. We STILL aren’t allowed to freely embrace our cultures because white people love to insult us and make fun of us, but white people themselves love wearing it because they think their mayo asses are entitlted to everything. Nope fuck off.

Anonymous asked: People who think porn is wrong really need to think more about humanity

Answer:

artfucker1996:

Gr8 cool I will do that while u engage in the totally natural act of watching people you don’t know have sex, without knowing why they are there, if they are being forced into it, if they are underage, if they consented to every act, if they have to take drugs just to get through it, the possibility of diseases, and the overall consequences for porn stars mental health, the entrenched violence and misogyny, the faked orgasms and the ridiculous expectation of sex that it perpetuates. By all means beat off to that. But don’t tell yourself it’s good for humanity. Sex has always existed. Porn, particularly violent, hardcore porn, has not.

"In addition to 81 students, Little Singer Community School is also home to asbestos, mold and scores of mice. Students have to carry their seats from class to class, presumably because the school can’t afford chairs for each classroom."
